Senior software developer will work on applications supporting team lead.  May work on several large applications that are, over time, migrating from VB and ASP to C#.   Need exception al skills in each of those areas and SQL, COM, and Crystal Reports.

Application Tuning and Management – Responsible for the analysis of current systems and applications. Including performance diagnosis, upgrade options, software integration and pro-active maintenance.

Application Development – Responsible for developing new features or improvements to existing features by using an agile SDLC methodology. The Senior Engineer must be able to write requirements, create design documents and perform all coding, testing and integration activities to successfully deliver the end product.

Technical Support – Responsible for all aspects of system operations and maintenance. Including performance analysis, capacity and server utilization, diagnosis of reported issues, timely resolution of issues and working with other team members on the integration of fixes and roll-out plans into QA and Production environments.

Will have interface with some business stake holders.  Therefore, effective written and oral communication for technical and non-technical audiences is critical.

 Must be able to suggest recommendations on system improvements by understanding currently used technologies and emerging technologies.
