Senior Principal Systems Architect -Location Arlington VA

Systems Architect 4 Year Degree 10+ to 15 Years Experience Perform enterprise and system architectural concept, definition, and design activities. Practical understanding of SOA-based systems implementations to include ESB and interoperability capabilities. Construct overall system architecture of a number of software-intensive application systems. Participate in systems and software requirements, design, development reviews and integration readiness reviews. Support proposal efforts. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represent the organization in providing high operational availability solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects. Research current and future technological developments and applications. A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience and ten to twelve years of relevant work experience working in large scale information system architectures are required. An MCSD is a plus. Practical experience architecting in a Microsoft .NET framework including Visual Studio development environment, ASP technology, XML and C# programming language skills. Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
